Pacific Pointe
Retirement Inn has been part of the King City community for almost twenty years. We are located within
easy walking distance to a post office, pharmacy and shopping, banking and medical services. Our residents
enjoy the amenities and services offered by our work-and-worry free lifestyle. Let us take the opportunity
to share with you some of the special features that make our lifestyle unique.
Pacific Pointe
offers a variety of studio, one and two bedroom floor plans. Every apartment is fully carpeted, with
mini-blinds throughout, large closets with built-ins and a kitchen with a two-burner stove and refrigerator.
Each resident adjusts his or her own heat and air conditioning to their own individual preference. In
addition, each apartment is equipped with emergency response cords and a fire sprinkler system.
Once
you pay your monthly rent, there are no other hidden charges. The best part is that the staff does all of
the work. We'll clean your apartment weekly and provide fresh bed and bath linens, repair anything that
needs fixing and do all of the cooking. We even furnish the toilet paper. Your rent includes two delicious
meals daily, you choice of breakfast and dinner or lunch and dinner. You can add a third meal for a small
additional fee.
Our residents enjoy having friends close by to visit with and join in the many
activity and social programs. The Pacific Pointe bus takes residents shopping, on outings and to scheduled
medical appointments, featuring front door service. Friends meet over lunch and dinner to discuss the news
of the day.
We also have cottage apartments. These unique duplex homes are nestled around the border
of our community. Each offers a complete kitchen, one or two bathrooms and two bedrooms. All your utilities,
weekly housekeeping services, 24-hour emergency response system and a host of other services, provided by
Pacific Pointe staff, are included in your monthly rent.
You'll be surprised at how attractive and
extensive Pacific Pointe Retirement Inn's common areas are. We enjoy a well appointed dining room with
vaulted ceilings, a social hall, library, billiards and ping pong room, card room, in-house hair shop,
several visiting areas and an exercise equipment and work out area. Remember, this is your home so each
common space can be rearranged to meet your desires and used as frequently as you would like.
For
your healthcare assistance, a home healthcare service is on the premises and available if you should need
assistance with medications, bathing, dressing, etc. They can even provide 24-hour care if you should
ever require it. You pay them separately from Pacific Pointe, as they are not part of our company. They
are here for your convenience.
At Pacific Pointe we have the best of both worlds - apartment
living without the work or worry of home ownership with complete independence. You can feel secure
knowing that most of our staff has a long tenure at Pacific Pointe. Cheryl Nylund, Executive Director,
has been here almost 15 years, two staff members 15, one 16 and another staff person almost 20 years.
